EDIT: Fixed the non-rule-adherences(.PNG, .OGG) I've also changed it so that it spawns a random corpse under it.
Don't stalk anyone; follow them with puppy-like affection.

You, sir, are my hero. :) This is REALLY cool.

On a side note, I love how if you spawn this from the console, the flies chase you around. :D

EDIT: Oh, and one important suggestion: if possible, convert the audio file from .WAV to .OGG; this will make the submission MUCH smaller. I used Audacity to convert it over to .OGG, and the .OGG format version is only 48kb in size compared to the 432kb used by the .WAV file!

Hey, those fly sprites are pretty spiffy. It might do to make a retrofit of the Swarm using them.

I didn't realize that the sounds were .wav and not .ogg. I'll fix that soon.

Actually I used these to do just that in In The Deep Earth. I edited it to the point that it can't be used like the original though. :\

I personally would rather use the swarm without the random dead body, so I could choose whatever corpse is most thematically appropriate for the situation. It's easy enough for a modder to remove that function, though, so might as well leave it in for those people that like the feature. Also, I like to use some extra rolloff for the buzzing sound, so the player won't hear it until they get fairly close, but that's just preference. :) Either way, I really, really like this!

Yeah, if it doesn't spawn a corpse, it can be used much more easily. Examples:
- By the corpse of a custom monster
- Near a pool of sludge
- Above a trash can
- Around a street light in a city night map (without the buzz sound, so it makes a swarm of moths instead of a swarm of flies)
... and so on.
I want YOU to read the wiki.
