UNDEAD CHAMPION HAS BEEN UPDATED! (March 15th, 2012, r523)

The previous version was a little overpowered, the version before that was kind of silly, and 101 revisions ago it was apparently removed entirely. This new version is well-balanced, a bit stronger than the Undead Knight, not as strong as the Death Knight, and fits nicely where it's been already placed on the maps. :D

DBCode is the same as the previous version, 16512. Can I get a "Hell yeah!?"

HELL YEAH!!!!

Actually I have yet to see or test this guy, him and the NightShade!!!! But I'll be checking it out shortly - the first can appear in all Episodes, but the Nightshade? What, episode 5 only?

I think that's what we came up with a while ago, but with the changes to the Nightshade, I'd also want to try to use it in E4, just to give mappers more of a chance to use it.

NIGHTSHADE HAS BEEN UPDATED! (April 19th, 2012, r553)

It's now more of a stealth/roamer. It has a low chance of going invisible in its see state (but doesn't do much damage, so it's not amazingly annoying for the player). It can also be modified through map arguments; I left a note in the Decorate with instructions.

I'm considering this Nightshade kind of experimental, in terms of balance (though it should be alright). If anyone has any issues, please speak up in related thread in Monster Resources.

VULGAR HAS BEEN REMOVED!!!! (Febuary 12th, 2013, r673)

It was very redundant because there were a lot of fodder-type monsters with low health and basic projectile attacks. Some redundancy is good, but this guy was pretty useless, all things considered. If you want a weak projectile monster that fits in slime-based areas, the Ghoul works pretty well, and many others might fit as well.

It was pretty useless, considering we have so many other low-health, flying, projectile monsters. I do know it was used on at least one map, so work will have to be done on that.

THE FORCE BLAST WEAPON HAS BEEN CUT!!! (Feb. 22nd, 2013, r688)

It didn't do anything the Ethereal Crossbow and Dragon Claw didn't already do, didn't fit with the other weapons thematically or graphically, and broke the tradition of each weapon in Heretic having its own ammo type. Some of the maps in the game already had it; I recommend placing the Dragon Claw instead.

INVISIBLE WARRIOR HAS BEEN CUT!!!! (Feb. 23rd, 2013, r691)

It was yet another medium-health projectile monster. Compared to everything else, it was the most plain monster we had (and despite the name, was perfectly visible). Its code was also commented out years ago, so I'm sure nobody will even notice it was removed.
