Hey look! It looks like the fungus that was growing on the screenshot thread has fallen off and turned into a topic!

Title: "Paradisio"
Author: Starscream
Difficulty: Depends how far you can expand your mind...
Description: So when somebody mentioned the word "Void", I instantly thought of this idea of a map, kind of styled after the whole portal thing in Hexen, just much more.... odd. It will have 4 different zones with a key you need in each, with a hub-type thing in the middle which lets you choose which one you want to go to next.

Episode: Episode 5

I love those floating island things, how they taper into stalactites. It's something I was vaguely planning to do on my map with a floor portal outside.
I want YOU to read the wiki.
And this one too. Also, SLADE3.

This looks brilliant, really awesome :) Though I'd suggest a different sky for the "WIP Hub", that looks totally lame :(

Sorry for my amazing absence, yet I have been doing some heavy study for my exams and the usual real life tripe, yet now I have 2 whole months off!

First step, I will try to get these maps done as fast as possible, and fix up the errors with my other map. Terribly sorry for the wait, but I hope it will be worth it!

Yay, studies can be a pain ;)

Looking forward to the map, I am sure the wait will be worth it.

Updated that start room a tad, just for a little more feel.

If you can't tell, the skybox constantly changes colour and brightness so it is tripped out. O_o

In a way, yes. The whole script consists of the brightness going from 0 to 255 to 0 again, before it restarts. Every time it restarts, a new colour is picked. Sometimes it seems to screw up and the colour changing and light fading becomes off time, and looks even more tripped out. :-P
It is the same style of change that is used in Cyb's Void.wad, just edited in some of it's variables.
