To clear up any confusion, here are the rules/explanations regarding thread tags.

Quote:
[SUBMISSION]: Mark your submissions to the resource sections as submissions, so we know they actually are submissions.

[UPDATE]: If you're updating an entry that is already approved and added onto R667, use this tag, so we know it's an actual update. Keep in mind, if you tweak a submission before it's approved, don't mark it as an update. This is just for things that are already added. Also, make sure you get permission before you update something, or we probably won't add it.

[APPROVED]: When we deem the submission ready to be added, we admins mark it approved. Remember, the submitter does NOT mark it as approved, the admins do.

[APPROVED][UPDATE]: Same thing as approved, but for updates. This is just to help us keep track of how we're supposed to add it.

[UNFINISHED]: If the submission isn't yet finished, use this. Only use this if your submission is almost done or you're looking for feedback. If we see something like "I need sprites, sounds and someone to code it" or something, we will probably lock it and tell you to come back when you have more progress. If you're abandoning an in-progress work for someone else to pick up later, say so.

[ON HOLD]: This tag is for when a submission is more or less abandoned for the time being. If you don't have any time to work on a submission but will come back to it later, mark it as this. If you're abandoning it for someone else to pick up later, mark it as unfinished, and say so.
(Please note, it was also used for a while as "this submission needs more work before it's approved," but we changed this to avoid confusion.)

[REJECTED]: Self-explanatory. This means we won't be adding it. Only admins should mark submissions as this.

[DUPLICATE]: This means that the submission in question has already been submitted or added, or if someone is re-submitting a totally revamped version of an entry that hasn't been approved yet (the previous version gets tagged this). Again, only admins should use this.

[BUG OPEN]: This is only for the bugs forum for HPack (or any other projects Torm decides to host here in the future).

[BUG FIXED]: Again, HPack bug forum only.

I have a question:
Quote:
[UNFINISHED]: If the submission isn't yet finished, use this. Only use this if [...] If we see something like "I need sprites, sounds and someone to code it" or something, we will probably lock it and tell you to come back when you have more progress [...]
Does this mean that people who don't have the ability to make good sprites can't ask if someone on the forum is willing to make some for them?

It's more like what I did with the HellStorm Cannon. "Can someone help with projectile/ammo pickup/explosion/etc. sprites?" or "Can someone help clean this up a bit?" rather than "Can someone make this whole weapon for me?" With Unfinished tags, you better at least have something to show when you post it.

It might be a better idea to ask over at ZDoom, because there are more people there who may be able to help.
