Ive been working on the seriously untouched brightmaps lump, Ive pretty much got everything in Doom, Heretic and Hexen complete, it isnt perfect, there may be a few errors Ive not seen but yeah, I've even done nearly textures that had lights, theres just a few Hexen sprites (such as torches) that I havnt done....

Those look amazing! I never thought about touching up on the light textures, they look really well. Im downloading right know to get a closer look.
ACCEPTED: Pulse Rifle, Adrenaline kit, Armor Set, Daisy Scenes.
REJECTED: M16, Chandelier.

I think the SFX Shoppe is more for map-spawned decorations (spawners, etc.), but I'll wait for Tormentor's say. If anything, it'd go here, though.
Currently reading: Nothing. Too busy to read at the moment.

It's cool, pretty useful and I think we should add it somewhere. I am not sure yet if we put it into "Textures" or "SFX"... :(

yeah i took a gut shot at posting it here. its more effects than textures cos you cant use them on their own, they need sprites and textures to map onto.

IMO it makes more sense in textures. SFXes are usually DECORATE actors. This is in effect a texture improvement pack. Like if a hi-res texture pack was hosted here, I wouldn't expect it to be in the SFX category.

Also note that it's very possible part of it end up in the official GZDoom brightmaps.pk3 package.

Looks very cool,but i have some problems when trying to run it.
At first,I renamed it to brightmaps2.pk3 so it doesn't replace my actual gzdoom brightmaps.Then I just "drag and drop'd" but nothing new happens. Can somebody tell what I am doing wrong?

I havnt done Final Doom (I actually forgot!), what ever textures used of the original Doom and Doom2 will work in that though.
