I agree the original is still better than the dragon claw one, but it's still redundant as hell. Between the regular Undead Knight, the Death Knight and the other slow, high-health, single-projectile monsters, there's really nothing to see here.

Agreed that the Dragon Claw variant should be moved, though. Should probably be rebalanced, given a sprite edit and submitted to the Beastiary. :P

Okay, I have one thing to say about the dragon-claw undead champion. I hate him.
And three guesses who changed it without anyone agreeing on it! :|

My original idea for the Champion was to make it typically throw red axes (like the Warrior Ghost), but occasionally throw a faster blue axe (perhaps with slight homing capability).

Hmm, maybe the Death Knight and Champion can be combined into a single monster. I see no reason to have both, and the Death Knight evokes VERY painful memories of the overpowered version in DE-Ep2.

For something of a sprite edit, I know the Hexen Fighter's helmet can be easily edited onto the Knight. Not sure what else can be done, however. Maybe just the sword from the Death Knight, if we decide to combine the two.

A combination would be cool - the helmet + the sword :) But someone needs to actually do that and I consider this to be a lot of painful work :(

The sword wouldn't be particularly tricky, since it's already on a Knight sprite set (simply copy/paste from the Death Knight). The helmet would be tougher, since it isn't a straight copy/paste and Neural and I think the tiny horns make it look awkward (no jokes on that, please).

Haha, that's a Quietus alright! Therefore it shouldn't have a melee attack!

Actually, Eriance copied it from the Centaur and added a glow. The sprite edit I added still has the standard axe. :P

Edit: Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, the Death Knight's attack is similar to the Quietus, but I wouldn't really make it that powerful, and I'd like to keep the melee attack.

Wow, the Undead Champion has come a long way since I added him. You know originally he was just supposed to be a tougher, more aggressive version of the Death Knight. Why not just make it throw spread-axes, or homing or ripping axes ,or remove him completely. Just keep it simple. Bin the hitscan attack though please, that is exceedingly annoying.
