Ah, yes. That might have something to do with it. Although the Blood Demon, Cacolantern, and Dark Imp all behave similarly to their counterparts.

they kind of worked on those monsters, they edited the cacolantern sprites so it didn't just look like a yellow cacodemon, dark imps were put into a variant pack, and they added the lunge for the blood demon. they would have to edit the abbadon's behavior or look before it would be accepted, for normally it is bit bland.

Actually, the blood demon "simply" has unique sprites (which aren't from skulltag). It's the mauler demon which has the leap attack (and looks quite different, again).

Anyway, back to the topic.

your right, but also, some blood demon variants i've seen (ns if the bestary one has this, i believe it does) he would launch blood balls or whatever they were called.

I know that at least the Demon Eclipse Blood Demon does that. I believe those sprites were then used for the Mauler, and the cyber-pinky sprites were made later (for KDiZD?) and used for the Bestiary Blood Demon.

Hey, I just had a thought--are you guys using the name "Acheron" anywhere in the pack? I thought that might possibly make a good final boss name, since it has a similar ring to the other two names you guys are considering, but has the advantage of being one that isn't already used elsewhere by another monster (as far as I am aware, that is).

Heh, Acheron is very similar to an MMORPG!!!!

Then the final boss will be a relative of Xaser's.
