Icytux is the one responsible for how it sounds at the moment so I need to get in contact with him and remind him to re-render the MIDI.

Also, the OGG render needs LOOP_START and LOOP_END markers to make it loop seamlessly.

I've been sneaking through the last few items in the bugtracker, trying to knock out everything, but this is the one item I can't really touch. Anyone have any success in reaching Dr. Icy just yet?

As I said on IRC, fantastic work with this - it's a really solid track now. :D Well done and thanks. :)

I'm a bit concerned at its overall volume, though - seems to clip and distort slightly, possibly due to the loudness of the guitar work. Shouldn't be too obvious in-game (this song has a lowered $musicvolume parameter in SNDINFO) but it's always best to avoid that kind of thing.

Haven't been able to get it to loop properly (yet) but I'll persevere.

Heh! I just got finished making the existing version of the track loop... xP

Listening now. I could take a try at loopifying it if Jimmy gets angry at it.

[EDIT] This is pretty damn great, except that the dist. guitars are -waaaaaaay- too loud. The fact that they're big heavy guitars makes up for the volume just by itself. ;)

What are the timings of your loop markers, Xaser? The new track seems to actually cut out a little bit too early (bizarrely, since it's exactly the correct length) so that's where I've struggled. :(
