It's a nice thing in terms of geometry, but the architecture suffers a lot. Misaligned textures, no texture variety, plain and flat in terms of details, trims. The problem is that this whole building looks flat even though it isn't.

Lighting has a lot to do with this as well. I love the castle's design but both of these could be improved. :)

Some gothic or hexen castle brick textures are needed here IMO. Glowing lava will look good against dark castle walls. ;-)

Yeah going through the map to see all the changes I missed while I was gone and I noticed nothing was done to the castle.
I might try to do a bit to it but with all those 3d floors crammed in there I can't do too much that wouldn't be nothing short of a complete overhaul for me.

I'll see what I can do nonetheless.

I think it'd look better if it used the same grey brick texture as the other castle. Obviously the whole structure needs aligning of its textures desperately, but it'd be much easier to forgive any minor misalignments with the grey texture. SP_HOT generally just looks awful if the map geometry doesn't perfectly match the alignment of the bricks, mainly because the bricks are so unconventionally sized within the texture.

Castle should be nice n' textured now. Anything can be fixed with careful application of WOODMET. :P
