Okay, I have one thing to say about the dragon-claw undead champion. I
hate him. It's horrible, terrible, and awful.
None of the Heretic monsters have hitscan attacks. Even for the player, they're quite rare (only two in the base game, which cease being hitscan attacks when powered up).
This change completely screwed up the balance of many WIP or completed maps by turning normal fight zones in Plutonia-style chaingunner gang rape playgrounds. Except that chaingunners in Doom II are easy to dispatch. Here, it's more like if you dehacked the Hell Knight to give it the Spider Mastermind attack.
It's horrible and I hate it. As far as the HPack champions go, guess what, my favorite is still the very first version: this one:
