Now that we have our 5 episodes, it's time to stick each mapper and map into one of them, to get a small overview of how things will turn out later. For an easy help to remember, here are the episodes themselves

HPack: Demonic Uprising
Episode 1: "Terrene of Sorrow"
(Heretic E1 style. Earth, medival style cities, graveyards, towers, and all that cool stuff. Final map could be a huge cathedral -- any Heretic episode needs a good cathedral. ;))

  • H1M0 - Tormentor667 (finished) (needs first son of dsparil battle!)

Episode 2: "Beneath the Altar"
(The corrupted world hidden in the tunnels beneath E1's cathedral. Sort of Heretic E2 ish, but focuses mainly on underground/cave-y maps with a couple of water-dome levels for good measure.)

  • H2M2 - S. Jaeken (finished) (the blue haze needs to be desaturated!)
  • H2M3 - ShadesMaster (finished)
  • H2M4 - ShadesMaster (finished)

  • H2M8 - Archi (finished) (secret exit) (very buggy!)

  • H2MX - Mancubus (claimed)

Episode 3: "Into the Furnace"
(Fiery, burning Heretic-y hell. 'Nuff said.)

  • H3M2 - Koresiarch / Shadesmaster (finished)
  • H3M3 - S. Jaeken (free to continue)
  • H3M4 - ShadesMaster (finished)
  • H3M5 - Egregor claimed
  • H3M6 - Koresiarch (in progress)
  • H3M7 - Gothic (in progress)
  • H3M8 - Disguise (in progress)
  • H3M9 - Boris (in progress)
  • H3M10 - FREE
  • H3M0 - Starscream (finished) (needs third son of dsparil battle!)
  • H3MX - Pillowblaster / Keksdose (claimed)

Episode 4: "Hell's Wake"
(E2-ish style, only more-so. Emerging from the flaming maw of hell, the player must traverse the scorched ruins of cities and clear the inhabitants within. Basically Earth and Fire mixed together, with a theme of ruin and desolation/destruction throughout.)

Episode 5: "The Astral Plane"
(The aforementioned "void" episode. Perfect conclusion, in my eyes, and a much needed chance in style from the usual Heretic fare.)

  • H5M3 - Gez (in progress) (reported back April 2013)
  • H5M4 - FREE (old map cancelled, must be removed!)

  • H5M8 - ShadesMaster (in progress)
  • H5M9 - Icytux (in progress)
  • H5M10 - FREE (needs final boss battle!)

Information on the placeholders: Hx stands for the episode, Mx stands for the map number. M0 is always the boss map of this episode, MX is always the secret map of this episode. [..] is meant as a placeholder for further maps.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR APRIL, 15TH;
I am going to update and reorganize the slots of necessary. Please report back until April 15th, otherwise your slot will be removed and your map will be scrapped (or finished, if someone else is willed to do so as long as you agree). Please report back in this thread and update your status!!!! (only necessary for maps in development or not started yet)

once again i will state this, i would like to take e5m8 or in the case of even more maps, the map slot before the boss map... because i want to have the fight itself be its own separate map... to reduce lag as much as possible...

yeah people should probably be a bit worried about this =p

I will take the map before the 3rd episode boss map aswell, to add a sense of flow between the two levels, Kind of like Vader's Thunderpeak.
