He already does, sorta.
Anyhow, this might be closable in the near future. While my latest changes haven't gone "live" just yet (I passed them right to Apothem since I was exhausted Sunday night), I actually did manage to reduce the animation by a few tics and also eliminated the drop behavior since it seemed to cause more harm than good. Tapping the key once will throw it with a 3-second fuse now, hopefully resulting in a lot less self-destruction.

Also, I increased the radius and damage again, which I figure is justifiable now that they're pretty rare in the map. It melts crowds of little guys and deals a pretty good amount of damage (up to 200) against other types.
