It's a highly flammable explosive barrel that blankets the immediate area with a temporary carpet of flame. If the mapper is smart they can be placed strategically to block bottlenecks.

The fire could stand to have a better sprite than the fire from Doom 2's flaming barrel.

Nice concept, but I think the Afrit's ground fire would look a little better.

That is exactly what I thought should be the fire.

Thumbs up for mentioning it before I did, then.

There is another idea that I have for this, instead of the fire just starting after the barrel explodes, wouldn't it look better if it instead spawned sparks that fall to the ground to create fire.

So, is anyone willed to add the new fire? I'd approve it then, maybe even Ghastly or Dreadopp can do that.

To me it looks like a recoloured Doom barrel with a "Poison" sign pasted on it. :'-(

While most "Flammable" labels i've seen were diamond shaped, a triangular one is not impossible. Actually, the symbol on this looks more to me like a flame than a poison logo.

Personally I think it's OK, but you could use a diamond (Or at least flip the triangle) to alleviate some of the association with the poison sign textures.

I agree with Neural's suggestion, that would be indeed better.
