Hello Doomers, today I finally finished the introduction map to my new project. So, what is already finished? Here is a little summary for you:
- Introduction map "Into the Night" is finished (structur, enemies, music, scripts, weapon balance)
- All Heretic weapons have been converted and work (pickup sprites and ammo also; weapons can be used by 1-7 buttons on keyboard)
- Almost every single Heretic enemy has been converted (except D'Sparil)
- 4 of the new enemies are already in the game (just some sounds must be added) and 3 others are finished as sprites on my hd
- Doom pickups look now like the one in the Heretic/Hexen world (stimpack -> health vial; includes FLOATBOP)
- Texture WAD is finished (useless stuff has been deleted, entries rearranged)
- Heretic/Hexen decals have been added to the game (thx goes to Enjay)
- Heretic style water splashes have been added (thx goes to Corvus)
- Playerskin Corvus has been recolored (so ZDoom playercolor works) and added
- Almost every single decoration out of Doom2 has been replaced with a Heretic/Hexen one
- Standard Doom sounds (Dooropen, Switch, Playersounds, Move, etc.) have been replaced with Heretic/Hexen ones
As you can see, this is a lot of work I have already done and the resources are almost finished (maybe I release them for other mappers to work with after this is done :)). The main thing I concentrate now is mapping and I really like it ;) I like it to see those Heretic/Hexen stuff in an amazing sourceport with all its features as ZDoom is. Some days ago I told you, the wad is going to have about 5 maps but I think, if my motivation doesn't stop immediately, the final wad will have about 10 or more maps, maybe also some deathmatch maps if I get to know how to respawn Heretic weaps within a Doom game. So, that's a lot of info for today and if you want to help me or have any suggestions, enter my forum and let me know!

Every day a new update, I feel like Bloodshedder on Doomworld today ;) Nevertheless, today I have been working on my "Seminarkurs" for school and it is a lot of fucking crappy work, really! To find a certain balance I checked some of my old Doom stuffage and found another Unreleaseable called Back to Hell :) If you want to know more about it, check my Unreleasables section, watch some screenies and do whatever you want with this crap :P By the way, I added several new reviews on my TNT series. If you want to read em, check my Maps & Wads section. Well, that's all for today. My work wants to be done and the amazing good weather here in germany wants me to sit outside and sunburn my white german skin *g*

This evening (it is 11:37 PM over here) I will finally introduce you a bit into my latest project. As always, it will feature unique stuff never seen before in a pwad as my work always does, thx goes to my imaginative mind :) So, what do you have to expect, you may ask? Here is a short list of features:
-
Amazing and sweeping atmosphere
- A risky and unusual but also nice and new combination of textures (gothic, heretic/hexen, quake)
- Altered and new enemies with new behavior which fit perectly in the new environment
- Altered and new weapons (original heretic/hexen ones plus totally new ones)
- A set of 5+ maps within a hub (no more large levels like TNT3)
The aim of this project is to bring you a new fantasy quest in the world of Hexen and Heretic without connecting to the saga of the three serpent riders as Herian and Eternal Doom tried to. The only difference is the fact, that I will succeed ;) On the left you can see an ingame screenshot and also a monster demo ;) If you have any questions or suggestions, use my forums.

Forums finally (and officially) Online! |

Finally, the forums are officially online. "Officially?" you may ask, well, the forums have been online now for aboute one month but not perfectly integrated into the page's layout and into the menue. But now, Evaluator (aka Nemesis) has finished the thing (thx alot for this, dude) and you can browse through threads, write new replys and everything else without leaving my Realm 667 (what a shame ;)) By the way, some gifs in the forum are still standard WBB2, I know, but I will fix this as soon as possible so don't tell me via e-mail. ;)

After my messageboard Sunset-Lounge was temporarily closed, my WBB styles haven't been available anymore for you all. This is why I got 2-3 emails and pns per day from users asking if I can release them or send them per mail. And this is why I put them online again in a WBB styles section because I really was tired of this apologizes and explanations :) The styles section won't change anymore by now because I'm not going to create designs for free, so get them now before I have a new idea ;)

After a developement of almost three months, I proudly present you "Torment & Torture 3 : Fortress of Damnation". What do you have to expect? Amazing effects taking the advantage of all ZDoom 2.0 features, complete new enemies without overwriting original doom ones, 2 maps with astonishing atmosphere never seen in a pwad before, perfect fitting background music and therefore an impressive end in the TNT trilogy. You can grab the zip file now in my "Maps & Wads" section and be sure to have the latest ZDoom version on your harddisk to enter full pleasure of single player gaming without any errors or bugs :) (http://zdoom.notgod.com/lars/ ). But there are still two things left before you play and after you have played the wad: Please read the .txt file within the zip and please give me some feedback on the map in my forums :) I think this request is a good service in return for my hard job I have done :)
So, whats next after this final release now?! Well, as you will see/have seen in TNT3, I altered Doom enemies and played around with the gothic texture set and, well, I like it :) My latest idea is to create a Doom map in Heretic/Hexen style with gothic textures, heretic enemies, hexen enemies and altered doom enemies (to look more heretic/hexen like). Maybe, this thing will have 3-5 maps, a nice story and interesting other stuff with a good mixture of ZDoom effects and scripting, so, you can look forward to the next update here :) Greets from Germany and a nice weekend :)

This will be definitely the last news before the release of TNT3 (yes I know, I already said this a month ago but this time, I am serious! :)), as promised, two preview screenshots out of the Torment & Torture Part 2 scenery ("The Evil Heart"). I'm ot going to reveal a lot about the story and the job you have to do there but I tell you something about the screenies :) The first one is a direct few on the main castle in which lies two nice secrets (one for the story and one (3) for the blasting pleasure). On the right you can see the main bridge to the castle on this lava island with nice detailed stuff. On the second screenshot, you have a complete overview on the castle, the bridge and the "continent" on the right site where you start. What you can't see?! Another island with a bell tower, alot of ambient sounds and much more detail on the right side. Nevertheless, these two shots show, which second different style is used in TNT3 (besides the brown icey techno style in part 1), the gothic style :) (I indeed use gothic textures for this :)
The combination of detail, size, gaming pleasure, variety and surprises makes this TNT chaptre by far the best one ever (also by far the largest and best map ever created by me). Hold on your mouse and keyboard 'cause soon, it's getting hot on your PC :)

Today I have finally uploaded screenshots for my X-Mas Deathmatch and Map01RemixesV2, so you can take a look at them before you are going to download anything. And to prevent another update like this, I added also previews to the Perforated Entrails desktop themes because I know, nobody wants to download a cat in a bag.
I am also almost finished with giving the forum the correct "Tormentor667" look, means, borders' width is 2 pixel, colors fit the homepage and almost every single button has been uploaded. The only things left to do are the PHP stuff (so the forum is placed directly in this part of the page; Nemesis aka Evaluator is helping me with this, thx alot dude!) and placing a button in the left menu gfx. :)
Here we go now with the very important part :) The final episode in our TNT3 saga nears finalisation and its first beta version for the testers (if you want to be beta tester, enter my forum and tell me!!!). Today I finished part one of this "doublemap". Some may ask: "What?! Just part 1 is finished?!" and I will answer: "Yes" :D but part 2 is going to be a very short map, like an arena (map07, e3m8) where you will have to fight against a few new bosses on a castle in a huge lavasea :) In my next update, I will reveal a screenshot of this scenery and for then, this will be the last screenshot before the final release of TNT3 (I don't want to shoot out all the good stuff before anyone has played the thing :). So, have a nice weekend :)
Update (10:14 PM): My TNT3 Map02 progress is faster then I ever thought. Large parts of the main lava area and the castles and towers in there are finished (also the atmospherical stuff like ambient sounds and skybox). If everything works fine and if I find some good sounds for my boss character, TNT3 beta testing will start on sunday :)

Since today, Tormentor's Realm 667 has its own Forum. It isn't completely finished yet but on the very first view, you can see it is "Tormentor's Forum 667" :) You can get there by clicking this link and in a few days, I will set up a menue link on the left. In my forum, users can get direct and personal information on webdesign, doom wads and much more. But most important: They can give me feedback!!! So this is why I'm looking forward to a lot of activity, questions and else :) BTW, standard language is english, if you want to have the forum in german, get into your profile options and change it at the bottom. And now, have fun because, TNT3 is on its way :) !!!

Something prementioned: My references have been updated with a completely new page, others will follow soon. Now the important stuff: I am fucking ill for 4 days now and I am really pissed because this makes me unable to do something useful. By the way, the problem seems to be the fact, that I have problems to create new, interesting and amazing rooms for my DooM map TNT3 and instead of creating bullshit, I stop the construction for a while to collect new ideas. Meanwhile, I will have to finish two other webjobs and this will also take 2-3 weeks. In regard of the deathmatch project, I announced weeks ago, I have also a bad vision. Vasago didn't contact me for weeks now and I think, the small little Doom Spark hasn't had enough food to become a big flame but we will see. Finally, the only productiv thing: Perhaps I will work a few moments on my Starwars RPG because I got a lot of new ideas about it since the last few illness days (funny, isn't it?!). Well, we'll see...
