This category displays only the monsters which are based on similar Heretic/Hexen monsters or fit better in Heretic/Hexen-style settings. This doesn't mean
that you can't place them into Doom or Strife maps / mods as
well, it is only meant as a little style guide and help.
Similar to Hexen's Bishop, the Acolyte fires a series of weak, slightly-homing projectiles. It can also speed around very quickly for a short period of time. They are very weak, however, and it doesn't take much to take one down.
The Apprentice of D'Sparil is a more powerful variant of Heretic's Disciple of D'Sparil. Rather than firing orbs of energy, however, it fires small meteors. It can also go invisible and invulnerable for a short period of time, during which it fires a few rounds of meteors in succession. It doesn't do a lot of damage, but it's hard to hit and takes a beating before dying.
The Avatar is meant to be used as a mini-boss. It has several attacks; a stream of fireballs; a large globe of energy that continually fragments into smaller orbs on contact; a large, homing projectile; and a wave of lightning. It's best placed in areas that have just enough cover to defend against its attacks, and it has enough health to last a while.

Shoots disintegration and petrification rays (disintegration is fast and does good damage, while petrification is faster at the cost of less damage), but also bites you when you get too close.
A dedicated mini-boss with high health and several attacks. It fires fiery projectiles, breathes a stream of fire, and summons ghosts to fight for it. Also, it can inflict the player with a curse which makes him take double the damage.
The frozen Wendigo's slimy, smelly, swamp-dwelling cousin. The Bog Beast can be found lurking in the misty depths of Cronos’s swamps, its glowing yellow eyes shining through the thick fog. Watch out for its venomous dual magic projectile attack. The Bog Beast is resistant to poison damage and has a small chance of leaving behind a cloud of poisonous vapour upon death.

These large cubes were created by powerful wizards who sought out to create magical bombs by storing massive amount of magical energies inside. While they did not create the weapon they were attempting to make, they did create something more unique. With the amount of energy stored inside these cubes are unstable, have erratic movements, and can fire a variety of magical projectiles. With such behavior they have earned the name Chaos Cubes.

A very fast, strong monster. Not a huge amount of health but its mobility makes up for it. Not as damaging as other boss-types, but the damage adds up very quickly. Does require a lot of room, however.

A cultist type enemy for a heretic/hexen theme. His health is a little low, but his attacks are fairly powerful. At long distance he calls down fiery rain from the skies at targets, and at close range he summons walls of fire.

Similar to the Disciple of D'Sparil from Heretic, and an upgrade of the Acolyte, the Disciple can either fire a volley of five projectiles, or a single homing projectile. Like the Acolyte, it can also move around quickly for a period of time.

Melee frames for the Disciple of D'Sparil. Includes DECORATE script which gives the melee sequence to the pre-existing Disciple actor. Also includes bonus ice death frame and state. Does not include the full sprite or sound resource set from the original actor.
Enchanted gems, crafted by the Serpent Rider's sorcerous minions. The hex prism is a brittle purple crystal, containing swirling necrotic energies. When an enemy approaches, these energies are focused into deadly orbs that are then released with swift, deadly effect.
This is an immobile, turret type enemy. When the target is within sight and range (1024 map units) it will fire a steady stream of purple projectiles. Useful for setting up traps, guarding doors, chokepoints, keys etc. Toggle the FRIENDLY flag for some helpful defensive firepower.
