Good news fellow Doomers, the migration process has just begun. After 2 days (and especially nights), the programmer has sorted out the hard part and was able to migrate about 80% of the pages content and structure to the new Joomla 3.3.4 version (take a closer look at the bottem right corner for a proof of concept). Unfortunately we encountered several problems with the old phpBB forum, especially with the JFusion component, that connects Joomla with the forum system. This process will be definitely more difficult to solve, but we are at it. Next step is recreating the site template and design in the spirit of the original version. Joomla 1.5 differs a lot from Joomla 3.3.4 in terms of positions, variables and code, we will most likely have to rebuild the whole template from the ground, but that's something I can take care of while the programmer migrates the rest of the data and content from the main page. After that it's time for the components, modules and plugins - most of them outdated or cancelled which need a proper replacement. Stay tuned!
