  • HazardSignBent can still be damaged and "killed" which I imagine wasn't meant to.
  • BuoyLit doesn't animate like Buoy does.
  • BarrelBlack and BarrelBrown have too much health (1000 HP), and they don't play their "death" sound when destroyed.
    • The name "barrel" given to the barrels death sound in SNDINFO is too generic. Make it a little unique as to avoid conflicts as possibly can. Maybe give it a prefix or something.
    • The sound should either be in OGG or FLAC format, not WAV.
  • Light-emitting props could do with dynamic lights.

Besides what Blue Shadow said, the shootable props should have the NOTAUTOAIMED flag.
Also Wreckage and Wreckage2 are already in the repo (Junk piles).

Okay, updated with fixes.

I see the wreckage sprites are already on the site, but this is a more comprehensive package.

One optional thing on the coding part, be sure to include //$category "Obstacles" on all the props, except for Destructibles. I'm going to test it out too, :).

  • Please check the list of actors well, I see at least one of them is not mentioned there. Also put INFO and CREDITS lumps inside the wad.
  • The death sprites for UrbanBarrelBlack and UrbanBarrelBlackDirty don't seem too fitting, they're way smaller compared to their normal sprites:

UrbanBarrelBrown looks fine.
  • BarrelFire is not bright and it doesn't emit any light.
  • BuoyLit should also emit light.
  • The sound should be converted to ogg as pointed earlier.

    Unfortunately cHeretic on DS console is a port of the old DOS ver. and does not support .deh files via "command line", but does support older vanilla megawads.

    The IWADs only contain the assets like music, audio, graphics and sprites. The only way to change the actual monster behaviour is by using DEHACKED.

    Sure you could probably use the sprite graphics themselves in a vanilla WAD by simply using them as a sprite replacement for the original weapon sprites.

    They are not, the submissions on this repository are meant for ZDoom and its' forks such as Zandronum and GZDoom. Not for the original Doom engine games.
