News entry about gzdoom-3-3 titled with a screenshot of my old project "Don't play with Hell: Part 1" moddb.com/mods/dont-play-with-hell-part-1 That old project do not provide any gzdoom 3.3 hi-tec features.
Perhaps you should pay attention to the new project, which realizes full potential of gzdoom 3.3+

Thanks for the community support
Hi, thanks a ton for the activity in the Doom community. I started out mapping about 20 years ago for Doom2, and has been doing level design for Quake, Half-Life and Counter-Strike since then. Now, the last two years I've spent working on a large Doom2 project which is currently about halfway in its second chapter. I thank for the guides, the collection of props and help that this realm provides. Keep up the good work!

Greetings from a Veteran mapper since 1996! Really enjoyed going through all the resources and I'm currently creating a new GZdoom map with rudimentary scripting, new monsters, textures and weather fx -Kristian Aro
Kristian, I still can remember you and your works (Brotherhood of Ruin was brilliant) and I can't wait to see what you come up with in the future -Tormentor667

Some old stuff
Hey Real667, just wanted to point you to some old stuff, which I used to play Doom with. That time the KDX Doom Launcher, The King Doom Experience was probably the most advanced Doom Launcher and ahead of its time .... however, that was back ca. 2000. The project seems to be abandoned since then, but somebody was trying to port it over to .NET in 2009 ... here is the link. Might be of use to you to have a look into the old code and adopt some ideas: http://www.martinhowe.net/gaming/downloads.php Copy of original KDX website seems also to be up, but no downloads: kingdoom.chickenkiller.com
