Suggestion: Item Store categories overhaul was created by DeVloek
Since the item Store doesn't have too many items this is probably not really an issue for most people, but I'd still like to share my thoughts on this.
Right now there are 3 categories in the Item Store: "PowerUps & Artifacts", "Puzzle items", and "Other"
But imho only the Puzzle Items category makes sense, the other two are kinda generic and you really have to look through all of them if you are looking for something more specific. For some items the category choice is kinda odd, for example the Hazmat suit is in "PowerUps" while the BioSuit is in "other", although they are very similar items.
So my suggestion is to either sort the items by style (Doom/Heretic/Strife) or further differentiate by usage type.
here are some examples how one could try to categorize stuff:
"Armor & Health" - Ankh of Life, Armor Sphere, Bloodlust Sphere, Bio Sphere, Medipack
"Ammo and gadgets" - Ammo Sphere, Ammo Belt, Combat Pack, Spring Mine, Deployable Sentry Gun
"Player buffs" - Damage Spheres, Fire Aura Sphere, Lich Skull, Scroll of Hellfire
"player morph powerups" - Mutant Sphere, Magic Squirrel, Shrink Sphere, Starving Rat
"Movement powerups" - Flight Sphere, Haste Sphere, Jet Thruster, Rebreather, Jump Boots
"Monster Debuffs" - Mask of Terror, Morph Cheddar, Possession Sphere, Terror Sphere
"Environment powerups" - Ring of the Owl, Salvation Sphere, Time Freeze Sphere,
"Summoning powerups" - Book of the Dead, Familiar Summon, Summon Sphere, Beacon, Swarmers
Then put everything that doesnt fit anywhere into "other", like the Checkpoint Disk.
Looking at my suggestions now I already see some items that might fit on other categories as well, and I have no idea of any of that makes sense in regards to the categories of the other repositories. And then there's the question if it would be really worth the effort, but oh well... these are just some suggestions

Oh hey, I just made a thread like this in the hidden Staff section. I guess it is worth making it public:
I think the Item Store could use more categories to separate its contents in a more organized way. My MEGA backup is divided into more specific categories:
I think the Item Store could use more categories to separate its contents in a more organized way. My MEGA backup is divided into more specific categories:
- Ammunition: for ammo pickups and backpack variants.
- Gadgets: stuff that players deploy to help them, like mines, turrets, beacons, etc.
- Health & Armor: for healing items and protective gear.
- Keys & Puzzle: stays the same.
- Powerups & Artifacts: for power spheres and inventory items.
- Other: for stuff that doesn't fit the above categories.

Nice, those categories make much sense, hopefully there's a chance for Torm to make it happen at some time.

I am okay with this setup. I can prepare the page structure and Gothic could resort them - are you okay with that?

very cool, thanks
btw, I just noticed that when I click on "Projects" on the upper menu bar, it leads me to this page https://www.realm667.com/projects but it is mostly blank, there is just a short intro text and a few headlines with nothing under them.

And done. Let me know if something is in the wrong section.
Thanks for the new sections, Torm.
By the way, the Bullet Ant Venom has been updated, now it deals damage as intended, and checks if the target has been removed.

Unless you're sorting by the look of the sprites, I think the Adrenaline Kit, Biosuit, Hazmat Suit, Pentacle of Projection and Berserk Powerups would fit better in the "PowerUps and Artifacts" category. Also while the Sigil Scroll doesn't really look like a gadget, technically it's a deployable teleporter so it would fit the "Gadgets" category.

Yeah, I was judging by the look of the sprites and not their functions. It is sorted now.

Thanks for the hint, this is indeed bugged, needs to be fixed when I have some more time left.btw, I just noticed that when I click on "Projects" on the upper menu bar, it leads me to this page https://www.realm667.com/projects but it is mostly blank, there is just a short intro text and a few headlines with nothing under them.
