I'd suggest something like this...
Powerup.Color 00 00 128, 0.3
...and tweak the values to your liking. I think the "BlueMap" preset uses special blending, which is why everything looks blue instead of simply blue-tinted.

No need to credit me for something so simple, but I appreciate it. I like this too if the others are OK with it. It's a nice alternative to the Invulnerability Artifact.
