Regarding stuff from Legacy of Rust was created by Gothic
I would like to ask people to abstain from uploading monsters/weapons/props/etc from the new expansion to the repository. Apparently it won't be necessary in the near future according to one of the authors

what about stuff that is based on the assets, like frankensprites and such?
btw LoR runs fine in GZDoom, at least in the version that I'm using, 4.11.1. The only thing I've seen that doesn't work is the intermission screen.

I say wait until next month if you want to submit a recolor of the Vassago or anything like that.what about stuff that is based on the assets, like frankensprites and such?

I have a few wild guesses, one involves licensing.
Also the GZdoom devs are probably zscriptifying all the new content from id1.wad so it works natively in the engine (you only need the graphics from id1.wad, just like you only need the graphics from doom2.wad), so in the future mod authors don't have to write code from scratch and can just inherit from the new actors.
