Trying out something minor that might work. I just increased brightness and contrast on the head. Is this an improvement or does the head need a total redo?

To me, it stands out a lot more, you can recognise everything better especially on the (2,3,4,6,7, rotation sprites. The brighter sprites & contrast really improve it. If I had the know how I'd try tanning the grey skin as some have suggested, to match the original boss's appearance a bit more (but that's just personal preference over practicality & what works best for you & anyone else).

It does still look like a bit hard to make out where each body part of the monster begins and ends, like where the head ends, and the body starts.

I wish I'd checked out this monster sooner. It's really good nice work. This gets my vote!

I haven't really done anything with the sprites since releasing it. I really don't have a plan for fixing the sprites and I kind of want to do other things.

If you don't mind, I can finish the sprites, this is pretty much almost done.

Yeah, I don't mind at all. It'd be nice to have this added. You could add your name to the credits too.
